So when Universal asked us to promote the eighth film, we decided to recreate this feeling for petrol heads and pedestrians alike.

To mimic the effects of G-force on the features, we built a fully integrated event pod including a green screen and 170MPH air jets, taking blockbuster film production values to whole new level


Mean greenscreen machine

The built-in iPhone camera captured each participant’s reactions and sent their content into the cloud via our custom apps.

There, our bespoke post-production process edited and graded it into their own personalised Fast8 trailer.


Jet powered delivery

40,300 fans from Berlin to Bogota, Johannesburg to Jakarta went from 0-160 MPH in 6 seconds. Their personalised trailer pinged into their inbox in 10 minutes


In a blaze of glory

By putting the audience in the trailer, the campaign collected over 22million views.

Stellar picked up a silver Davey for best Online Film/Video-Live Events and the movie over $532 million at the international box office.
